1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fasting Timer ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Fasting Timer is a personal intermittent fasting tracker that allows you to time fasts, track weight, log water intake, and follow fasting protocols. The App stores data locally on your device.

3. User Accounts

The App does not require account creation or sign-in. No personal identification is collected.

4. Health Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — NOT MEDICAL ADVICE:

Fasting Timer is a tracking and timing tool only
It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
The fasting zone information (fed state, fat burning, ketosis, autophagy) is based on general scientific literature and may not apply to your individual health situation
You should not make health decisions based solely on information provided by this App
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any fasting regimen
Fasting may be dangerous for individuals with certain medical conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, and the elderly
If you feel unwell during a fast, stop fasting immediately and seek medical attention if needed

5. Dry Fasting Warning

IMPORTANT: The App includes support for dry fasting protocols (no food or water). Dry fasting carries additional health risks including dehydration. Dry fasting should only be undertaken by individuals who are experienced with fasting, are in good health, and have consulted a healthcare professional. We strongly recommend limiting dry fasts and prioritizing hydration when breaking a dry fast.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Ad-Free (One-Time Purchase)

Removes all advertisements permanently
Non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy
Tied to your Google account and can be restored on any device

Pro Subscription

Provides access to premium themes, advanced analytics, weight tracking, detailed insights, and other premium features
Available as monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription

Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from Google Play > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Free trial: If offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices with advance notice. You must agree to any price increase before it takes effect.

All billing is handled by Google Play. We do not process or store payment information.

7. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

Fasting data, weight logs, and health metrics are stored locally on your device
We do not have servers that store your personal data
Crash reports are collected anonymously via Firebase Crashlytics
Ads are served by Google AdMob (free tier only)

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Circumvent any technical measures designed to protect the App or its content
Use the App as a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment
Recommend or promote dangerous fasting practices using content from the App

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Velzio. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

We are not liable for any health consequences resulting from use of or reliance on the App
We are not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse health effects related to fasting practices
We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app uninstallation, or any other cause
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends. Locally stored data remains on your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
