Overview

PDF Reader ("the App") is built by Velzio. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Data We Collect

Data stored on your device only:

Your PDF library (recently opened files, bookmarks, reading progress)
App preferences (theme, display settings)

This data is stored locally in an on-device database and is never uploaded to our servers. We do not read or access the content of your PDF files.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data independently:

Google AdMob — serves ads and may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases (e.g., "Remove Ads"). Purchase data is handled by Google. See Google Payments Privacy Notice.

Permissions

Storage / File access — required to open and read PDF files you select.
Internet — required to load ads and process in-app purchases.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The only data leaving your device is what AdMob and Google Play Billing collect as described above.

Data Retention & Deletion

All app data is stored locally. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data from your device settings permanently deletes all your data. We retain nothing on our end.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
